September Pottery Residential

Join me for a relaxed and friendly course set in the stunning Welsh countryside. During the event, we will use hand building with a variety of clays to respond to the natural elements of our surroundings. This amazing venue, set in 7 acres of rewilded land provides a perfect setting for contemplative and creative making. We welcome people with a broad range of experience, from the complete beginner to more seasoned ceramicists. This will be an intimate group of up to 10 people and we can offer the flexibility for you to follow your own creative ideas backed up by kind and supportive teaching. We will be brought together through communal cooking and eating of delicious vegetarian food. This family home provides simple and comfortable accomodation, with shared bathrooms and a mixture of twin, single and double rooms, with an option to camp or attend as a non-resident. The finale of the event will be the making of an experimental kiln, which we will fire on the last night. You will take the pots you fired home with you, and the pieces you made during the course will be fired, glazed and posted on to you afterwards.
